Joppa has no paid executives or staff. Roughly 95% of each donation goes directly to help unsheltered and recently unsheltered homeless people in Des Moines.

Donate new items and gently used things you no longer need!

We are in immediate need of:

• 20lb propane tanks
• Tents, tarps & camping equipment
• Winter sleeping bags & blankets
• Winter gear: Thermal underwear, insulated overalls, coats, gloves & hats
• Gift certificates to Scheel’s or Sportsman’s Warehouse, for insulated hunting boots
• Cleaning supplies, laundry detergent and dish soap
